I'm trying OrbRider with an Ant+ dongle paired to separate Wahoo Speed and Cadence sensors. OrbRider finds all my hardware but does not display cadence. Win10 and all comm drivers are up to date.
Secondly, the prog crashed halfway through my workout this morning. Are the system log or event files worth looking in to?
As a follow-up on my- what I believe is- hardware related I've installed Orbrider on to a desktop with more RAM, a better graphics card, a faster processor... you get the idea. I'll post again after my next ride.
I'm still experiencing crashes during a ride, always about 15 minutes in to. My PC meets all the minimum sys reqs. Are there any recommendations for Windows 10 settings, especially memory management, that may help?
The game crashed again, this time with the use only of my PC and ANT+ dongle. (and linked to my strava account). FPS ranged from 10 -18; I think maybe 14 when it crashed 15 mins in to riding. I grabbed a screenshot early in to the ride if that helps.
Hi and thank you for trying OrbRider. I appreciate any feedback you have. The current available version has a few bugs and this appears to be one of them. I confirmed this is happening on my setup as well. I have this fixed now but it won't be available for a few months as I work on finalizing the next version. Another issue you may notice is that you cannot log in with your OrbRider account. A new log-in process will also be available in this next version. The client doesn't write any logs to disk right now but I can work on adding a way to enable some logging to disk. Does it crash on a consistent basis or has it only happened one time so far?
