Yes, that is correct. This measures how quickly your PC is running the game. So while you may be able to improve this metric it may not necessarily solve the crashing.

Hi Christopher - Sorry to hear that! Changing the video resolution and quality in the game settings is the only thing that you can do while observing the FPS count to see if it gets closer to 30. It does sound like a memory leak that could be causing the crash, which could be associated with the water. I fixed an issue with the water causing the game to pause slightly every 15 seconds or so and that could be related to what you are experiencing. I should have this next version ready in another week or so and we can see if it addresses the issue for you.

No problem! I should be able to release a new interim version in December while I continue to work towards a version that I'm planning to release on the Mac App Store in 2023. This next version will introduce you to workouts and challenges that have been added to each biome. The multiplayer capabilities will be restored as well. The challenges consist of chasing down targets during your workout. The image below shows a rabbit that has spawned as the chase target. However, catching each chase target gets more difficult as wolves join the chase and try to catch the rabbit before you. The wolves will also attack you if you let them! The screen capture below shows an "Orb Sprite" that you acquire as you progress and can help heal, guard or attack during these challenges. The goal for OrbRider is to create a gamified experience with modern graphics and visual distractions that make indoor cycling fun and engaging. Hi and thank you for trying OrbRider. I appreciate any feedback you have. The current available version has a few bugs and this appears to be one of them. I confirmed this is happening on my setup as well. I have this fixed now but it won't be available for a few months as I work on finalizing the next version. Another issue you may notice is that you cannot log in with your OrbRider account. A new log-in process will also be available in this next version. The client doesn't write any logs to disk right now but I can work on adding a way to enable some logging to disk. Does it crash on a consistent basis or has it only happened one time so far?

Can you try to copy the install file (.msi) to your other drive with more space and run the installation from there?

Hi Luis, I thought this was changed in the latest version for Windows. I'll check on this and let you know. If not, I can make this change and release a new version. I agree with you, that we should be able to choose the install location.

@Kev Great News! This is now fixed and OrbRider works on the new Apple M1 chip. In fact, OrbRider seems to run even better on the MacBook Air (Apple silicon) versus the MacBook Pro (Intel based). Please download the latest version 1.4.7 from the "Premium (Download)" page. I get 60 FPS on medium graphics settings and about 30 FPS with the graphics on ultra.

Hi @Kev, I got my hands on an M1 Air and sure enough, the screen is green on that machine too! But now I can start to work on testing ideas for how to solve this. It seems to be tied to some kind of "Intel processor" emulation called "Rosetta". Thank you for bringing this to my attention!

@Kev OK thanks for letting me know. I'll keep trying a few more things to see if I can provide a solution. As far as the cadence reading do you have two different sensors? I have this Magene but it only does speed or cadence and set by removing the battery. I had to buy two of them to get both speed and cadence readings.

@Kev Hi Kev, Please try the latest version 1.4.6 available from the "Premium (Download)" page.

In the meantime you could try using the "Default" button at the bottom of the "Settings" window and then restart the game. Which you may have already done but thought I would mention it just in case.

OK, thank you for trying that. It is hard to say what the solution is since I can't easily reproduce this green screen on my end. I have a few theories that I can try in the next build which should be ready next week. I would really appreciate it if you tried the next version to let me know if it fixed things for you, and presumably others.

Cool, thanks for trying OrbRider and sending the screen capture. I'm glad to hear more people are able to get the game running on a Mac. It almost looks like the game's fog is glitching. Does it help if you change the "Weather" settings to force the weather system to update?

There was an issue with the Mountain Valley course that has been fixed in version 1.3.8.0

I think we have this resolved. We have confirmed that OrbRider works with Garmin's USB ANT+ stick. It seems you need to close the Garmin connect application and not having it running in the background if you are experiencing connectivity issues.

Hi @inesfra - This is strange, your Garmin Ant + stick should work with OrbRider. I've been having a similar issue where my Ant+ stick seems to be put to sleep by the operating system (Windows) Can you try these steps: 1.) Quit OrbRider game 2.) Unplug your Garmin Ant+ stick from your PC 3.) Wait 30 seconds 4.) Plug your Garmin Ant+ stick into your PC 5.) Start OrbRider and look for the ANT+ indicator to turn green
